INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

All Houseboats have;
- full height ceilings
- separate bedrooms
- all bed and bath linen included with you hire (a fitted sheet is provided, if you require a "top sheet" you are welcome to bring along).
- Carpet and/or vinyl flooring is layed throughout.
- Dinghy with Oars (Motor extra)

No matter which Houseboat you choose, the on board facilities include, a comfortable lounge area containing a colour TV, video and DVD Player, functional kitchen, with all crockery, cutlery etc; large gas fridge/freezer, ice chest, four burner upright stove with oven & griller, marine toilet with holding tanks and treated discharge system, full size shower and gas hot water.

In addition, an outdoor setting compliments your upper deck with marine BBQ's and adds to the relaxation you will experience while on your Fantasea Houseboat Holiday.

All you need to bring is your food, drinks, beach towels, personal items, toiletries and toilet tissue.

 
CAN YOU PROVIDE FOOD?

This needs to be arranged in advance of your booking so all food is on board for your arrival. We have a local shopping centre and we are happy to drive you there and collect you once you have your supplies, you will need to organise this in advance.  A surcharge is applicable for the cost of groceries purchased on your behalf.

We are happy to assist if you require flowers, wine or any item you would like on board for your arrival.

CAN YOU COLLECT US FROM THE AIRPORT?

We are happy to call on your behalf and relay prices for transfers from either Coolongatta or Brisbane Airport..

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

We accept all major Credit Cards (except Diners), American Express will incur a 3.5% fee on your booking.

We will accept Cheques made payable to Fantaseas Houseboats 14 days in advance of your Houseboat Holiday.

We do have an EFTPOS machine in our office to pay for your Houseboat Holiday but we are not able to process cash withdrawals from your Savings or Cheque Accounts.

CAN WE STAY ON THE MARINA
AT SANCTUARY COVE

We allow for a night in emergencies to stay at Sanctuary Cove or to return a night early to experience the wonderful dining and shopping within Sanctuary Cove. Please ask our Reception staff at time of booking if you would like to be brought into the marina a day earlier or depart the following day of arrival.

Please assist us by letting us know in advance as sometimes this is not possible due to the popularity of Sanctuary Cove Marina.

 

WHAT TIME DO I COLLECT THE VESSEL?

All Houseboats are available from 2.30pm and must be returned by 9.00am on your day of departure.

We will endeavour to contact all hirers a few days before you are due to set out on the waterways and if it is possible we will have you boarding a little earlier.

IS FISHING EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED?

Yes, we do have fishing rods available for purchasing and we hire crab pots from our Marina. We stock bait if this is required and ice (both block and crush).

 

DO I NEED A BOAT LICENCE?
No.  You will require a full driver’s license and proof on arrival. 

PARKING?
We will direct you on car parking once unloaded in Sanctuary Cove.

FUEL AND WATER ON THE HOUSEBOATS?
All fuel and water is provided on the vessel on collection, you will not be required to re-fuel as this is done on return of vessel.

CAN I BUY SUPPLIES?
There are so many areas on the Broadwater for you to discover, restaurants to eat at, drop in for a beer at a pub on the water or stock up on milk and bread.  All maps are provided on each vessel and are marked accordingly where there are shops and restaurants.

CAN I BRING MY OWN TINNIE, WHERE DO I LAUNCH THIS?
Yes you can.  We ask that all ski boats and tinnies are launched at Santa Barbara, located on your entry into Casey’s Road, turn left at round about onto Santa Barbara Boulevard and follow this to the bottom where the boat ramp is located.
